LITTLE IMPORTANT TIPS TO KNOW TO BETTER PREPARE BEFORE ORDERING YOUR CONCRETE.
THE TECHNIQUE FOR A CONCRETE POURING
When undertaking a pour, be sure to enforce concrete slump standards. If this standard is not followed, you will experience a guarantee war that no one will want to give you. The concrete flatterer will tell you it's the concrete company's fault and the concrete company will throw the ball back to the concrete flatterer. Learn from experts about the standards and products to use before starting your project.
If you order 20 - 25 - 30 or 35 mpa, this indicates the strength of your concrete. The smaller the number, the less resistance the concrete has. 20mpa is good resistance but obviously less than 25mpa. The more we increase, the stronger the resistance.
But you need to be careful. Using 35mpa does not guarantee that you will have no problems, it all depends on your project. Too much strength can also cause cracking problems. So take the time to fully explain your project to your concrete consultant who will suggest the right mpa to use.
Now you have to choose the stone for your project. The choices available are very varied. We work with the most popular, i.e. 10mm - 14mm - 20mm.
The 20mm stone is the standard stone which should normally be included in a regular mix. You will pay more for the 14mm stone used for a concrete pump or for a better finish according to some. The 10mm stone will also cost more because it is made for a mix intended for a small pump.
WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER
If you already have a pump for your project, you will need to order the 10mm or 14mm stone. It is essential not to use the 20mm stone in this case as it will block your small pump. It is very important to specify that you want your concrete at 4 inches or 80mm for your project.
CONCRETE MIXER ARRIVAL FOR YOUR PROJECT
4 inch or 80mm are government standards for all projects. So as soon as the concrete mixer arrives, specify to the concrete mixer operator that you want your concrete at 4 inches or 80 mm. It is the one and only way to pour concrete.
If you are using the services of a flatterer and he refuses to flatter the concrete at 4 inches but wants to raise the concrete to 5 or 6 inches to the water, then be careful, this process is not ideal.
If you have no choice, have the concrete mixer operator raise the concrete to 6 inches but with plasticizer only. It will cost you extra but you will save your concrete and problems in the future.
To have an excellent grip on your concrete, it is recommended that you do not pour when it is too hot or if the sun is shining directly on the concrete. If you pour concrete in a very hot day, the concrete will set too quickly and possibly cause several problems on the concrete surface such as cracks or chipping.
We recommend that you sink in the very early morning or at the end of the day at sunset. The perfect weather to do this type of work is when the sky is cloudy but without any risk of rain.
